Sudurpaschim (Province no.7) Slashes Vehicle Tax Rates for 2077/78

Province 7 Economic Affairs and Planning Minister Jhapat Bahadur Bohara has announced tax relief on annual vehicle-renewal for financial year 2077/78.
Although Minister Bohara stated that the revised tax rate is to minimize the burden of tax on people amidst the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the new tax structure for two-wheelers below 150cc and four-wheelers below 2000cc is nothing to rejoice for. In the four-wheelers, only vehicles above 2000cc have seen the maximum tax cut, while under tw0-wheelers, only motorcycles above 150cc have received the maximum benefit.
